Okay I just set up a new tank for ponies My dkh is 14 how do I bring that down my magnesium is at 1400 my calcium is at 400

Just give it time and let it come down. It depends on the salt that you are using, some have high alk,mg,ca. I usually wait a day or so to test. after my parameters balanced out, I switch salt to a lower Mg,Ca, Alk and started the Balling Method and the only reason I am checking my parameters now is I added a sump and have to readjust my dosing.

You can add an acid, but generally, allowing it to come down on its own is easiest and safest.
