DMB-what would you say-mushrooms

So, i had to rescape a portion of tank, knew i had these two mushrooms, but basically they have lost all their pigmentation

been at least year like this…any ideas-how they will be, remove off rock from tank??? Ever regain their color or gone forever…

It depends why they have lost their zoox but it could be from low light, or a bacterial infection. Ive had some recover that lookrf like this and some die.

Yah-i think they lost their zoox, but they’ve been like this at least a year

I dont like mushrooms on my rocks as they usually win all the fights so i vote for removal

im a mushroom softie/lps tank



but they will stop corals from going there

I have a bunch of random baby jawbreakers all over my rocks and they kill anything that gets near them.
If they werent the more expensive coral i would be just as annoyed of them as other mushrooms lol

Luckily most corals are in chek

Only lost a couple heads of hammer to a shroom
