So long story short , I’m on day 27 of fallow and my copper band died in my holding tank. My options are to either ;

1. Quarantine new Copper band
2. Buy berghia nudibranch

The concern I have with option 2 is if Berghia nudibranch need quarantine. Please any accurate info is needed. Since aiptasia file fish has been removed during fallow , aiptasia has become obvious. I can’t imagine when day 76 day is over.

Thanks in advance fellow reefers

You can qt the nudibranch, but with no medications. I have an invert qt set up. I purchase things in multiples and let them sit in that tank for 76 days. Also, the nudibranch will starve with no aiptasias in the tank.

There’s no research on if they can carry ich

I believe generations are raised in fish less systems for obvious reasons. They come from a fallow environment already. Both Reeftown and Dinkins Aquatics have excellent customer service. I sure they can put your mind at ease.

No, but....
Berghia need a real healthy supply of aptaisia. If they need to 'roam' your tank for the next meal they might not survive to swipe out your whole tank. Yes your tank will look better but you will also have aptaisia survivors from the war.

Copperband butterfly decimated entire tank. Problem solved
