I had beaten Large Cell Amphidinium and inadvertently dosed too much NeoNitro because of a contaminated Nyos kit. My Nitrates are 67. Tried water changes with little effect. Started to Carbon dose Vinegar and guess what happened next. Dino’s back in sandbed. Thinking about Carbon dosing with Biopellets because the bacteria feed off the pellets in the reactor. Would Carbon dosing with Biopellets be a better choice for tanks that are high risk for Dinoflagellates?
Thank you

I’ve upped my scrubber and Refugium time. Added more water changes. Anything else I can do to lower Nitrates? Do you think pellets would help me? Long time reader. First time poster. Thank you

Hard to say.
I think biopellets may keep the Carbon dose local and allow you to do it in an area not prone to problem dinos, like a dark portion in a sump.
