Hi All,
We have a 125 gallon mostly softy tank that has been stable for about 2 years. We already have a Midas Blenny and a black sailfin blenny in the system. They are well fed and don’t bother each other anymore. They did wrangle a little at first but generally they occupy different parts of the system. The Midas blenny feeds from the water column for the most part.
We have a quarantine tank with one blenny in it to keep the system cycled. It was tiny when we got it but it has grown and we are wondering if we could introduce it to our main system and replace the QT fish.
I’m not sure what kind it is, but it was a more rare type. It has reddish stripes alternating with white and a flat blenny face and big, strong lips. It does not look like a dragonet.
Will the Midas blenny fight with the other? They have similar body shapes. But are very different colors.
