do blue hippo tangs eat caulerpa?

which tang is most likely to eat caulerpa that doesn't need over 125 gallons? i know a foxface will do the job but i want a tang.

In my experience they will not.
 
What kind of caulerpa are you referring to, Nicki?

i believe it to be prolifera. that's what it looks like. we used to have a lawn mower blenny and hector's goby that loved it if that helps too.

Just wondering... I don't keep that particular type, so I can't be of any help. Sorry. I keep feather, and nothing eats it. It can be awful if tippy don't know how to handle it.

Mine does. But its a treat to them, they don't get it alot.
 
we're starting to lean toward a foxface.. i really want the stuff out of the display. we've tried to remove it manually but all of our rocks are so porous it's proven to be quite impossible.
