Do blue sympodiums release palytoxins?

I read that sympodiums are a part of the zoa family. So, will they release palytoxins? I have one that is getting large and I want to either remove it from the rock or split the rock. Any suggestions?

No I do not believe they do but good question. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

Do not believe they contain palytoxin.

Love sympodium i believe they are part of the Xeniid family not zoa so the chances of paly like toxins are low i would of thought
