Do corals poop together?

I just witnessed the most alarming poop! My bubble coral, which is roughly the size of a honeydew shrank down to a quarter of its size within minutes, shook violently and then expelled the largest coral poop I’ve ever seen, a brownish red stringy mess. Said coral poop then got sucked into my pump and spread throughout the tank. At that moment my pink frogspawn shrank, and it too pooped, not like the bubble coral though. Is it just coincidence or does something trigger a mass pooping session?

You should see when a anemone poops or a slug .it's huge that big of poop I usually Leave in tank and let Mother Nature take over .it's all natural

Wait until your coral starting watching you poop by peeking thru the keyhole. Reasonable right of privacy applies here
