Got home from work to find these little clumps. I thought they were eggs or something initially but they just break apart if stirred up and re form after a while.

I thought I was battling some diatoms (again) after moving the scape around and disturbing the sand but maybe it’s something else.

I’ve looked around for similar but my search foo is failing me.

Thanks I’m advance.

I think that can be detritus or cyanobacteria. Whatever it is, u can improve it by giving it a good flow. U may set up a wave rotator.

What CUC do you have in the tank?
They look like Strombus (Conch) droppings.
