Do fancy torches maintain their color well?

I made a post a little while ago about my rainbow acans losing their color and it sounded like a lot of people have experienced the same thing, especially those of us running leds. Do torches have the same problem? I've never splurged on an expensive rainbow torch but I might end up doing so at a frag swap this weekend.

First off photo is different than eyeballs, i have a orange/gold with blue tips, no change, holy grail changes with the light and may not look like photo. If you like it buy it and you will probable see its vaiation but someone may not. Wanted to get a rainbow pectinia but thought the color would only be a rainbow under certain lights

That makes sense, that's why I'm typically hesitant to buy online without seeing something in person. Since I'm going to the swap I'll be able to eyeball everything and see what light it's under. How does holy grail change with lighting typically?

Any shading can take on a purple/blue color more white light it looks like a dark shadow, also yellow and green can change with a lot of blue light. Grail has all these colors

Thanks for the info, I might try to get a orange/gold one. Those pop so well. Do you ave a pic of yours?
