Do Filter Socks filter out trace elements you add?

So I dose:
Vodka/Vinegar
Iodide
Iron
Strontium
Potassium

.....all in small qtys.

Do filter socks filter out trace elements I work hard on adding to the tank?

Sorta like I'm wasting my time adding trace elements bc the filter socks just filter it out (?)

No only particles that are physical in nature are removed with filter socks.

There are filter pads such as Poly Bio pads are treated with chemicals to remove elements
