So I work construction, and befoee every job you go thru an orientation video give you the in's and out's do's ans dont's. Where key spots/locations are at yada yada.

I really truly feel like there needs to be a video where it shows you where the seaech function is,key words to use to find a specific thing you are about to ask, thats already been asked 15 times within 2 days.

Also, what sections might be best for the problem and or question you may have.

I literally come on to the forum every day numerous times a day and literallt see the same questions "my new fish is dying, whats wrong" or "why is this or that happening" when a search function is literally at thw top right corner of the page. Youtube is another amazing source. But these forums are here and there is 10+ years of info from some of the best hobbiest who have shed light on to issues literallt anyone has had or is going through.

A spelling/grammar orientation would be nice too. So many post are filled with so many mistakes that it makes it hard to discern what people are trying to say.

R2R is worldwide, and not everyone is fluent in English.

IDK, I know you trying to be helpful, its kind of a stretch though, an orientation video to show how to use the search function?

Honestly, there's too much hand holding already. If people cant read the big white words at the top of the screen, I don't know if a video will help them. Besides, it doesn't bother me to see repeated questions.

But, no harm if they do make an orientation video, I just won't watch it.

I have no problem with people asking questions. Even if they have been asked one hundred times before. In my opinion what’s a forum is for. If it’s a question that I’ve seen before and I don’t feel like answering it. I simply move on no skin off my teeth. Actually it would be dead around here if it weren’t for questions. I use the search button quite often to find what I’m looking for. However the information may be years old or out of date or someone has taken the subject way out into left field. In those cases I really see why some ask the same questions.

Problem is, the people who need to watch it wouldn't. (Literallt!)

This is the wrong industry for that lol. Noone would watch it.

Livestock is so incredibly cheap. If someone kills something, they’ll just buy another. It’s not about what’s best for the animal, it’s about what someone wants.

Might not be a terrible idea lol.

Honestly I do find the search function to not be that helpful and or a bit confusing for me most times I try to use it. Most of the time I’ll just search what I need on google and type reef2reef at the end of the google search and I have a much easier time finding what I’m looking for that way.

A few weeks ago I was trying to do some research on alkatronic and for the life of me I couldn’t figure out how to search for it on here without every single search result being a buy/sell thread. I think I did end up figuring it out but it wasn’t nearly as easy as I expected lol.

Wow someone got out of bed on the wrong side today lol.

I would say that dozens of frantic posts a day contradict your generalized post though

Plus it depends on who answers and their knowledge or take. This site has been a vault of information for me personally. I'm not alone.
