I've been waiting to pull the trigger on one for a long time and the opportunity is finally here but just wanted to confirm because I've heard mixed things from other reefers.

Anyone who's had one, do they split? I can handle one monster but if there ends up being more I don't know if I can offload that.

Someone somewhere would take your split, *IF* it happens for you... If you've been waiting, I love that you are long term planner, but you also shouldn't miss this opportunity *IF* you really want it, if you are ready for it now, and if it is healthy.

These might help you find people local to you, when day comes for baby to get new home (post split):

AND... Local Fish Store(s) would probably take it back, giving you wholesale credit that you can spend towards retail prices - they have to make a living and keep their doors open so if you know it is worth Y but they only give you X... price of doing business.

I found this to be interesting (and scary):

You're right. If I've been wanting it then I should pull the trigger and accept whatever baggage it comes with. It's all part of the fun. It's because the vendor I was looking at has a hellfire anemone and a hemprichii which are both very cool imo but the feeding response is what points me towards the hellfire
