Do I clean it or leave it

having a bit of a tidy up and noticed my maxspect block in my drain section has lots of crap attached to it... should I be worried? Should I clean it? Should I leave it?

Those are pineapple sponges leave them be free filter feeders

I have a ton in my sump. Super good filter feeders!
