I filled up the tank with water (80 gallons), and I found out the tank is not really at the center of the stand top. I can drain the water, take the rocks out maybe scoop the crushed corals out also to push the tank to the left a bit...
like 1/8 inch to the left.

Do it?

Yes, drain the water and push it over. You don't have to take out the gravel. Of course, you can leave it the way it is, but it would drive me crazy

This! If it was me, id notice it every time i looked at the tank and it would annoy me until i fixed it. I've even moved 1 rock in my tank multiple times till i was happy with it.

You advised me to level my tank last week. I took out all 140 gallons and leveled it. You do it too! hahaahh

Can't just slide it with the water? I can move mine, push at corner bottom. That would bother me for sure, I have mine measured to the t.

Depending on the tank size. I would not try that with a glass tank. ... mine is a rimless, I would not push it when water is more than 30% period :-). Not worthy for the heart attack medication.

That happened to me. If the glass is pushing on the right side wood I would drain it because I would be scared to death of pressure cracking the tank. If there's a little room and it's not touching the glass it should be fine.

It's only prudent to add

the minimum number of times one should wash their hands both before going into the reef tank and coming out after is no less than 9 times with good knuckle detail in between. If you should forget one of the rounds and fall short at 8, don't add one-do them all over again. ocd jokes are permissible by any guy who sometimes circles back around to ensure the garage door closed and didn't go back up thereby exposing all electronics for theft due to a tech glitch in the opener.

Id be pulling out the brute cans, buckets, and mag pump to pump that water out. In about 10 minutes it could be fixed and refilled.

I agree fix it. The sheer weight of the thread alone would have any symmetrical person thinking as they try and go to sleep: it's off kilter, it's off kilter. No rest for the off kilter heh

The fun is not complete until it can pass a level test in each direction. No shimming!

I say leave it and let it be a reminder that things don't have to be perfect in life. Tanks are supposed to be therapeutic right? This is just adding another layer to that.

I only say that because A) my new 200g is aligned in similar fashion on the tank and it cannot be fixed as the plumbing is all in and even nudging it 1/8in would mess things up. And B) it's all unlevel about 1/4" - which I'm just not going to care about.

But draining 80g into a rubbermaid, moving it over a bit, and refilling will take you less than an hour.

If it bothers you now a little it will bother you a lot later. Drain the water to a brute or two, center it and pump the water back in. 20 minutes max.

there is a pad under the bottom panel, so the glass is not touching the side of the stand. I can still slide a thick piece of paper between the tank and the stand wall.....

No offense intended, but if you wanted to fix it, it would have been done already. Like the OP said, it could be done in 15 minutes. In my opinion, if you're going to do something, do it right, but the tank isn't going to fail. If it doesn't bother you, leave it as is and move on.
