I got this freebie 3-4 months ago and it has morphed to what looks like a WD acro. Can anyone confirm from my horrible iPhone pics?

It's beautiful. You never know how acropora will color up under the right conditions.

Hard to say for sure. I very nice piece for sure good luck and let it grow out. Would love to see a full colony of it. Hate that so many people hack up their Acro's.

Who knows what it turns out to be.
There are many corals in the trade that come close to the WD but at the end it just another pretty coral.
I myself got a small frag about 2.5 years ago from the original WD and it never did got the colors as was shown me and believe me I did everything I could with my parameters to be perfect as even a green slimmer got rainbow colors in my tank because of it.
I have been giving frags away to local reefers to see if they would get some colors out of it but as of now without playing with some photo apps it ain't happening.
A friend of mine in Dallas got this coral,

But in the Dallas area they call it the Jerry Garcia acro...........
They holding a mini colony for me but didn't had a chance to drive up there this month.

Thanks Diesel!
I think it look really close to your pic. I've never seen a WD in person so it's hard to compare.

The wd is a very nice Acro, however I have not seen one that looks like the original pictures of it. Even frags in tanks of very experienced reefers like you don't come close. Still a beauty though.

Correct, I have had under LED's from different manufactures, T5's, MH and any combo between these light for months had some great color but nothing like what we have seen from only onside of the story.
If I have frags available I send them out as freebies if ppl getting a pack from me :D

What lighting are you using now. Since uve been through so many options. What gives u that color?

T5 all Giesemann bulbs.
I figured t5. I'mgoing 2 be using 4 and a kessil led just for tun-ability. I like being able 2 turn ur tank green just for fun for a little. Idk if that's bad for the corals gettn just the green spectrum for a little. But what I'd like
