Do I have a weird torch?

So yeah, do I have a weird torch? I posted some pics of it on my local club’s website For a contest (smallest euphyllia) and people were freaking out about it. They said all sorts of stuff like it could be a ‘torch hybrid’ and it was ‘highly unusual’. I haven’t kept enough torches to know wether or not what they’re saying is true. But y’all have a lot of experience and I know there are a lot of torch lovers here so let’s see! It came as a hitchhiker and was 3 tentacles when I got it in March 2020. Last pic was taken while I was feeding the fish.

It's a cristata (grape) torch

Looks like euphyllia cristata to me as well. Does the skeleton have small "ribs" between the tentacles like this?

There is no skeleton visible at all, ever. It does not retract at night. Let me make it angry real quick and I will update with skeleton pics

Before my finger is it completely undisturbed, after my finger is after I physically rubbed the tentacles and swished water around it. It retracted slightly but not significantly. No skeleton visible

It seems like a cristata, but could be a different type of torch. I've seen them spawn in aquariums a fe different times and the babies show up in unexpected places.... maybe that's what happened and if it is, it takes awhile for the skeletal structure to grow.

If you can't find a skeleton, maybe some sort of anemone?
My experience is VERY limited lol.

I don’t have any cristatas in the tank, I got it from a friend’s tank and I don’t believe he has any cristatas either but I’ll ask him.

First guess would have been cristata, but if you don't see that type of skeleton then it isn't. My guess would be a hybrid of a torch and hammer ;Cyclops. Regardless, very nice and can't wait for it to grow out! ;Joyful

Wow yeah, definitely no skeleton like that. A torch hammer hybrid?! I’ve never heard of that! I do have torches and hammers in the tank as well as the tank they came from so it’s definitely a possibility!
