I have a Hannah Phosphorus ULR HI736 and I'm getting a reading of 9ppb and I'm not sure if that is high or not. Tank is almost 2 months old now and has been cycled for about a month. I noticed on BRS that Hannah also makes a Phosphate ULR HI774. Now I'm confused on which one I should be using.

I have that one as well. Use the chart @lapin gave a link to in order to convert to ppm.

Thank you. So it looks like I'm sitting at 0.028ppm should I just leave everything alone and just keep and eye on it or should I bring that up or down?

You want some but keep it less than 0.1ppm.
0 = dinos
Too much and you get a lot of algae.
There are tons of opinions on this and different levels for different corals ect....

Well I'm glad I asked here before doing anything. I thought it was really high. Thanks for the help.

Your po4 is about as low as anyone keeping corals tries to keep it. Some people have success at that level, and some don't have much luck unless they keep it considerably higher.

im not 100% sure there is a direct correction you can apply as Total P is three different forms of phosphate
they may or not be in direct ratio (this is my job btw)
i have found very little that gives you any info of total P in a reef tank (6ppb is the only figure i have seen quoted)
Though to be honest i have seen little evidence for the 0.03 ortho p
