Do I have to dos in my return chamber?

So I am about to instal my dos and my return chamber is lagging of space. So do I have to dos where my return pump is ore can I do’s where my skimmer is with out any problems?

Best to dose where there's lots of water movement. I have mine dump where the water runs over the baffle that goes into the return section.

Same here. Mine dumps into the baffle between fuge and return compartments. Gets mixed in before it even hits the return pump.
