Hey there

I am hoping for some feedback on my 40 gal breeder and your opinions on my mix inside the tank. I don’t have any concerns, just looking for tips, advice, or any recommendations of things I could add. Cheers!

-Anthelia waving hands (very large & established covers a whole dry live rock)
-Rainbow bubble tip anemone (being hosted by 4 clowns)
-Pink bubble tip anemone (not being hosted)
-4 ocellaris clownfish (purchased at same time and hosting in the RBT anemone)
-blue tang
-coral beauty angelfish
-3 turbo snails
-4 trochus (I think )
-2 fighting conch
-2 astrea snails
-2 nassarius snails
-2 cleaner shrimp
-brittle starfish
-spaghetti leather coral
-zooanthid (green, unsure of exact one)
-2 blue leg hermit crabs (I have 5 or so extra shells scattered thru the tank)
-clam (derasa)
-red scooter blenny

Thinking of more snails (13 in there now) and hermits(2 in there now)—? Any room for more fish? Hoping for any new fish to be peaceful…if I add any at all. Let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions. Thanks ☺️

I dont think its too many, but IMHO its not the right mix for that size tank, it is a possible battle royale. How long have you had the fish?

Most would say that your tang will soon outgrow that small of a tank if it hasn't already, and depending on filtration etc. you are at capacity. Do you need to enhance you cuc because of algae growth?

Blue tang needs a 150 gallon minimum IMO. It grows 1 foot long, how long is your tank, 2 feet? 4 clowns will kill themselves, you can either have 2 or 15 tbh. Coral beauty is probably ok. With the anemone - what powerhead do you have? If it has too big holes it will shred the anemone apart. idk about 2 cleaner shrimp. May want to research that. Also how old is your tank? Red scooter blennies need an established and old tank
