Hello all, my mushrooms seam to move out of the light and are not opening up the wayI just have the cheap standard t8? 10000k and actinic bulbs. I do not have a test kit so I can not test the water. I did have it checked at the lfs and it was good. Thoughts? Thanks a ton!

I agree with @reacclimating 2 the hobby ,purchase some test kits, it will benefit you more than you know. Some more information or a picture on the lighting system and tank is helpful like size of the tank, what T5 system, how many bulbs, age of bulbs, location of the corals etc.

I agree with grabbing some test kits. While a full battery of tests will reveal the best picture, keeping alkalinity and nitrate stable will probably be the most important two if you are trying to keep to a budget. I'd get them first and add to them as cash allows. I use Red Sea Pro for nitrate and Salifert for Alkalinity, but there are a half dozen or so good brands out there.
