My tank just turned a year old in January. Around that same time I started getting dinos. I checked and my No3 and No4 had both dropped to zero. Ive been dosing Brightwell Neonitro and Phos, to bring my levels up. Now what do I do, just wait on it to work? Ive heard water change is bad for dino, so I stopped those, also stopped skimmer, and taken out GFO. I got my No3 up to 5ppm yesterday, should I stop at that and just wait?

I originally started the tank with gulf live rock, so I never had an ugly phase. I started the GFO last month when I noticed the dinos, then stopped it when I read that was not really going to help. Ive just always ran some carbon and that was it.

Running GFO can cause Dinos due to lowering the phosphate to zero. been ther done that. Best quick tool to get ride of Dinos is a UV sterilizer.
