Do I need a booster cable?

I have a Vectra M2 and i'm looking at getting a battery backup. I'm seeing some conflicting information on line........Do i need the booster cable for it to work? I see it says its necessary and states the M1 ans L1 but other places said "vectra pumps" so i'm a little confused.

Yes. The booster cable is intended to be used with all Vectra series pumps. I have this for my M2.
