I'm cycling my new 30g Fish Only tank. It is an AquaOne Ecostyle 81 which comes with inbuilt filter which does a pretty good job of oxygenating the water, from what I can see, and creates a decent amount of surface agitation.
I have noticed that in the side of the tank furthermost from where the filter inflow is, the water is not too... actively moving? I wouldn't say 'stagnant' but its clearly not moving around as much as the other side of the tank where the water is flowing in from the filter.
Since it is a fish only tank, do I need a powerhead or two?

being that it will be FOWLR its not essential but recommended to keep detritus suspended so the filter can pick it up. No powerhead will just increase the need for matinance.
Another reason to get a powerhead is many fish like lots of flow
