do i need a reactor?

I have a red sea reefer tank v3 sump, I have carbon in 1 media cup and seachem phosguard in the other media cup, I also have seachem matrix in media bags in the refugium area of the tank, In just about every sump I see is a media reactor so my tank is pretty stable as it is so do I need a reactor and if so what else do I need to put in it?

No, you don't "need" a reactor. Many people (including myself) run their system without one.

That's my thinking but just curious as most people seem to have them.

No, no need. Who do people use them? It does improve efficiency somewhat, and we like toys.

Yeah I get that bit, I keep looking at the Nyos Torqe reactor and how nice it would look in my sump, I keep trying to find a reason to buy one but as I said above my tank is stable so best not change it
