Do I need a sump and/or skimmer?

I'm fairly new to saltwater reef tanks. I have a 60g reef ONLY tank. I do not plan on adding any fish EVER. Do I still need a sump and/or protein skimmer?

I have (2) Tunze 6025 powerheads, (1) 14000K reef specrum build my LED lights, filters (without carbon) from my freshwater days (Penguin 200 and Marineland H.O.T. magnum). and Fluval heater from my freashwater days.

So far its doing just fine. I've had some that say no and others that say I should at least get a skimmer.

That is a good question I would add both just for a safety precaution you have a lot of money in corals if something ever goes wrong you will be out. A protein skimmer I think it's necessary in any aquarium

I would say a skimmer is a must, you don't need a sump. I don't have one, but they help with keeping levels stable and getting the equipment out of the tank.

I would say a skimmer is a must if you are supplementing your corals with food...it's purpose is to remove waste from the tank...
Also...an ATO if you don't have one..corals sometimes are more sensitive to salinity changes...
.other than that, I sump would be nice but definitely not needed...

The fact that your asking this question leads me to believe that you already feel your tank would/could benefit greatly from one or the other or both
That aside. If anything I'd at least have a skimmer to protect those beautiful corals

I've heard the eshopps psk75H was a pretty good hang on skimmer. Anyone using this with success? Any suggestions on a hang on skimmer?
