Hi all

I run a 350 Red Sea tank mostly lps but with about 10 sps frags

I use Red Sea reef foundation ...a/calcium
B/carbonate and buffer
C/magnesium supplement

Fluval sea trace elements
Acropower,amino acid formula

Am I missing something for a stable tank or is that enough

Thanks

a sack of carbon hanging in the sump
some cheato, just in case .... which dont seem to be growing lol , low nutes
v2 vecton 400 uv
couple of socks in the sump , and loads of filter floss

thats about it apart from the powerheads in the dt

i forgot to add in the first post , i use marine snow by to little fishies every now and than

2nd pic looks like there's algae on my sand
There's not lol just the pic .....bit ocd on the algae .........hateing that pic now haha

Tank looks great to me. I used a similar dosing regimen for years. Never had any issues. As long as your calcium and alkalinity stay stable, in most situations, you are good.

thanks guys
I don't understand the 2 reactors? Both running bio pellets just different brands. Why if you don't mind me asking?

had a little trouble with high nutes after the tank change over and had alot more fish than i have now ...white spot , just wanted to get on top of it and stay a low nute tank .........seems to work well

just a quick Q, just about to go to my lfs and grab a couple bits of live rock ...i want to build up one end of my tank more as iv so many corals on my sand bed now ..... am i asking for trouble by adding more rock , the rock at the shop sits in a big plastic tank coverd with water
what ya think guys go for it or hold back ?

I just added live rock to my established tank. Add it little bits at a time to avoid a giant nutrient spike. If you're tank is well established, you will likely not even see much algal growth
