Do i need to claibrate a handheld TDS meter??

Hello everyone. I am about to pull the trigger on the RODI buddie unit, but first I want to get a handheld tds meter. So, do I need to calibrate a handheld TDS meter like this one (https://www.noon.com/uae-en/tds-wat...yxFRmYMS7Uypx6ff3WwuKLgfmBvCERicaAjVeEALw_wcB), if so, how often should it be?

I doubt it has a calibration function, best you can do is buy some distilled water and test that, it should be zero but don’t be alarmed it is reads a couple of TDS, as the container can raise the TDS, you’ll then know it’ll ok.

plastic and residue from other substances that was previously in the container, it really doesn't take a lot to register a couple of TDS on a reader.

When I test my rodi water, I have to rinse a glass container out a couple of times before the reader will give a zero read on my water.
