Is that Green Star Polyps? If so, a new soft toothbrush should work ok to clean it in the tank.

use a soft brush. And be patient - I had one not open for 3 months.

Thank you. Also do you know how I can get rid of the algae on my rocks and glass ? I believe it’s hair algae but it is a fairly new tank so may be beginner phase, not quite sure

I can’t get paramaters at the moment as they are round my partners house this is a few pics of what it looks like

You need some turbo snails and a lot of manual removal. Yes this is part of the ugly stage keep nitrates and phosphates down but not zero it will eventually get better.

I would say think months not days/weeks. I started a new frag tank a couple months ago and cheated with Fluconazole. Got to about the stage you’re at now and I hit it with Fluconazole at 10mg/3L. ~18 days later it was spotless and has been since.
