Do I need to dip my corals from my other tank to my brand new tank?

I'm curious to hear thoughts on this as well. On one hand it seems like extra stress, but on the other hand why risk contamination with something you may not even realize you have?

If you're going from your tank to your tank I would think it is probably not necessary. If you were bringing corals in from an outside source such as someone else's tank or from a company I would advise it but if you're going from your old system to new system I wouldn't Unless you have an issue in your old system
