Hi there, I’m not new to reefing, but was out of the hobby for about 7 years, and got back in it about two years ago. Things have drastically changed and I’m trying to play catch up. I have a 120 gallon tank with very little demand as of yet. Here recently, I’m really trying to get a handle on reef chemistry. I’ve read many of Randy Holmes-Farley’s great articles and have looked at BRS’s YouTube videos. I’ve been testing my water for the past month and not seen the Ca reading drop at all. Also how do you know if you need to dose trace elements?

. Thanks for any help. If you want to reference articles, I’m good with that as well.
