Once I see lots of pods in my tank will continuing to dose phyto limit my pods from preforming their primary job of eating nuisance algae and detritus? Or, will I simply improve my pod crew?

Not necessary, I seeded my tank with a ball of chaeto and then fed phyto for a few months. I stopped feeding months ago and have not noticed any drop off in pods. My glass is always covered and my Mandarin fat and happy

Thanks for the input.
