Do i need to get a media block?

I bought a marine x60.2 36 gallon display, and 20 gallon simp, im planning to use a refigum, and i was wondering if i should buy a media block?

You can - but you might be ok with various smaller sizes, ie: cubes, spheres, hexes, etc.

Are you going to have live rock, live sand etc. great product but not 100% necessary.

I would spend the money on a lump of quality rock. I’ve never bought these blocks.
