My tank water ph is 7.20 and i m planning to buy clownfish . What ph i need?? How will i acheive it. Any permanent method other than buffer

That's unusually low. Point a powerhead towards the surface to cause surface tension to promote gas exchange and see if that helps increase your ph. Also do you keep your windows closed alot? Sometimes something as simple as opening a window to get some of the trapped CO2 out of your home and fresh air in makes the world of difference.

With digital ph meter

I had ordered a ph test kit will come soon and will double check it

I had put shrimp into my tank for 3 weeks (changed it every 3 days )
