Do I need to separate

So when I bought my mushroom at the local LFS it cam with 3 polyps attached. I'm unaware of what kind of mushroom and polyps those are. My main question do I need to separate them I have new heads popping up and looks like the mushroom is stinging them or can they?

The mushroom will end up killing palys, if u want both of them to survive I suggest spreading them

Those palys are ugly and could take over the tank. Get rid and do not eat as probably have palytoxin in them.
