Do i need to up the lighting?

Right now i have no lid over my tank, and my lid is coming next week by top lids mesh. And my current configuration is AB+ 40% and my lps doing fantastic. I was wondering once i get the lid on. Do i need to up the lighting by 10%? To compensate for the light loss?

Probably not! It's not something I would worry about. I put on a mesh-lid on my tank about 6 months ago and I haven't noticed any measurable difference!

Mesh lid shouldnt change anything. If its a glass lid then you need to clean the salt creep off it quite often to keep it clear though.
