Do I want the COR15 pump if I plan on going Apex eventually?

As the title says!

Gathering parts for my first reefer 250 build. I will not have Apex at the forefront, but will be on the x-mas or so. Should I get the COR15 to help with future apex upgrades?

Only issue is the cor-15 will only work with apex. On the other hand cor-20 can be used as stand alone fyi
