I manually dose and just do it as part of my daily schedule... it's been working very well. Super easy.
The wife and I are going to be gone for a few weeks later this year and my adult daughter will be staying at the house to take care of the menagerie...tank, dogs, cats, chickens.
Looking at picking up a Jebao DP-4 to remove the need for her to handle dosing task. My concern is the reports of the Jebao staying on and overdosing. My thought is to put the pump on a timer that's turns on for 2 short intervals, each day, only when the pump will be scheduled to be actively dosing.
Timer kicks on at 0600 and off at 0630; pump is scheduled to be dosing 0610-0625.... worst case scenario if the Jebao sticks on, there would be an overdose, but not disastrous. It would run for 30 minutes max.
Does the Jebao DP-4 return to its programed schedule when it looses power? Anyone see glaring flaws in my plan?
