I’m new to the hobby and this is my first frag I’ve gotten and I was just wondering if my zoas look healthy

How about we try taking another picture that doesn't look like were looking through a bottle of windex?

In another words, turn down the blues and take a better picture.

From what I can see, they look fine, but a better picture would help us help you.

They look perfectly fine to me. How long have you had them?

I see one polyp closed, but corals like us have an off day from time to time and don't like to open. Nothing to worry about.

They look very normal for having been in the tank less than a week. If you notice them not opening for extended period of time during the light period I would be concerned, and post for help. Otherwise it's going to take them a month or two to settle in and start growing.

Not starting, but take it easy Homer many people are learning as they go along on R2R. I'm pretty sure as time goes on the photos will improve. It's always a good rule to encourage not to discourage questions here.
The zoas look healthy as long as they are not closed and have tissue hanging. There are many variants that can make your zoas seem different from what other may have [emoji41]

What?

I asked to turn the blues down so we can see the picture. What was wrong with that? No one, and I mean no one could tell you the state of those zoas from the first pic. If you post based on that pic, your only fooling the OP and yourself, and that will help no one.

How did I discourage a question?
