Do nipped fins grow back?

After a stressful introduction and some fighting I think the angel and tang are good. I only saw the aggression when I introduced them but will the tang’s nipped fin on the top grow back or is it permanently damaged? I think it might. Does anyone have any photos as proof?

In most cases, they will grow back as long as infection does not set in. Severe damage can take a long time, but small nips and fin tears usually heal very quickly.

My most recent tang had his fins cut in several places after added him, but was back to normal in 3 days.
