This is the second harlequin shrimp I purchased from these guys. Second time it arrived dead. This time really made me mad there was ONE piece of newspaper in the box!!! No heat pack no ice pack nothing else besides 1 small bag with a dead shrimp and 1 piece of newspaper!! Totally unacceptable! They have a doa policy but you still pay 40.00 for shipping. Out 120 for 2 dead shrimp. Do not buy from them.

The worst part is how expensive the shipping is there. I paid $80 total for two microscopic Amazon Puffers, and they died.

That’s when I started purchasing freshwater fish from bluegrass aquatics. $15 shipping and I’ve only had one DOA.

Also for SW fish - was liveaquaria always that cheap in shipping? Because I always remember them having quite expensive prices! I’m looking into live shipping because my first round of fish were from Petco and all but the firefish have died of velvet.

Allentown, PA? If so, I'd suggest checking out Something Fishy in Northampton. They're a pretty solid LFS.

LA has reasonable shipping. If you buy over $150 you get free shipping too - which is easy to do when buying marine fish.

No, I live in central jersey. The LFS are pretty bad by me, except a place where I got my leather coral. One nice fish store I’ve been to is That Fish Place in Lancaster.
