So last Thursday I decided I was gonna switch from LEDs back to t5/halide. So i saw on their site they were having a sale
I ordered the following
2 x 3 ft dual t5 fixture
1 x 250 Watt Metal halide fixture
hanging kit
mouting kit to mount t5s to halide
paid for better shipping
So I get send them a email stating that I understood it was late Thursday 4:30 pm WCT and to please ship out friday so I could get it mid week. I get a reply back on Friday stating it would be monday for sure when it shipped, I bit the bullet and said no problem. I waited all night got no email with shipping I sent another email with no response. I then went and sent another email saying "you made me a promise and I need my light please ship out 2nd day". so this morning I get a phone call from Simon saying that there was a problem with one of the t5 fixtures and they had to run to the warehouse to get another one. I first off thought this sounded strange however he agreed to get it to me 2nd day and I would have a tracking number today. I see no email by 11 pm est so I email him saying I never saw the tracking number I need to know whats going on since I have already sold my light to another R2R member and I want to ship it out to him. He said they would have to order me in another t5 fixture since they aparently are out of them and have no replacement for the damaged one. He said he told his "partner" to send out the 250 watt halide in the morning. I said Simon we have discussed the importance of me getting these lights. He said I will refund you and that he was sorry but this so called partner was dropping the ball on him. When I asked about this partner he changed the subject and said he would refund instantly. He actually did before the call was completed. However I now had to order another fixture , pay again for 3 day shipping from california so now I wont see a light til Monday when I should have seen it tomorrow. So buyers beware fish need it;lights; food;Sponge should not be advertising these fixture and making promises they do not have any intention of keeping.
