Do powerhead protectors make it so anemones dont get chopped

My anemone is near the powerhead, but it has a protector is that ok?

That is the idea . What kind of protector is it ie: foam or plastic and are the holes in this protector small enough to where the new can’t get in and get cut up ?

its the Nero plastic protector that comes in the box. One of the tips of the anemone was going inside of it so that was kind of worry sum.

Then you might consider getting a foam cover to go over the guard or move the pump

The Nero protector isn’t enough IMO.

I bought some cheap plastic canvas (for crafting) from amazon, cut it to size and tied it with a cable tie. I did that for all my powerheads, including Nero 3 and Nero 5.
