Do Randall goby and red pistol shrimp pair?

I have a red pistol shrimp and a Randall goby and they don't seem to pair up like my LFS told me. They do share the same burrow under the rock but I never see them going out together. They always do their own things. I am wondering why.

This is my beautiful goby hanging out of his burrow lol.

They're living in the same hole which mean they paired already. The shirmp will continue to dig tunnel and the goby usually stay at the front hole to protect the shrimp

The shrimp has already built a tunnel under all the rocks in my tank and he loves to roam around. The goby usually like to stay in the front for long period of time lol. They are so fun to watch but I just wish they could do something together hehe.

The shirmp mainly stay inside but when you hand feed them, it might come out to grab the food otherwise the goby will take the food in for the shrimp.

The shrimp will come out and grab food, but the goby doesn't, but I did saw him eating left over food.
