I got a scoly few months ago. From queen city it was fat. I noticed that it started losing weight, and getting skinny. So i moved it. I thought its the flow or the light. I was feeding it but not 3x a week. Like oncr in 2 weeks. It stopped showing me the feeders at night. And got super skinny.

That was the video of it skinny

I decided to feed again 3x a week.

As u can see it gained a bit of weight. My question is because i get different answers my tank is 7 months old. My parameters are below. And i had some people tell me they feed once a month. Why would i lose that scoly to feeding once every 2 weeks?

Before i lost most of my homophyllia to PLCS i used to feed them every other day.

They were always plump and happy! I say you don't need to feed them but they sure do benefit from it.

Just as long as you dont foul your water up by feeding all will be well :)

I feed pellets to mine 1-2 times a week depending on how they look. They get whatever’s in the water column. My nitrates and phosphates are low. Seem to be doing well.the Cynaria has definitely grown.
