Yes. Any hard surface is a place for ich to attach to.
A tank with saltwater and sand from Home Depot in a window with sunlight. The sand will go diatoms and feed snails. Any meat eater snails you can feed frozen. I find nori isn’t the way to keep them fed during qt. No meds needed

Potentially, yes. However, I think the likelyhood is an order of magnitude below adding a fish, for example.

Shrimp you can pull out rinse them off and add to display immediately after molt but I recommend letting them sit 8 weeks

What snails eat diatoms
I don’t think they discriminate. Diatoms will get eaten by something, and dwindle. Copepods are good.
