Just wondering if there is any kind of shedding process that takes place for nepenthe. This coral spend about 4-5 days kind of retracted, and now it's extending again, but has these very thin sheets of flesh coming off. I have seen it do this before and after the episode, it had beautiful PE and reach for the light. What do you think? I'm still learning every day!

Yes especially mushrooms as in the case of sinulara in your pic. Toadstool and devil hands notorious for doing so

Yes they shed! They can do it when there is a lot of debris onto their skin or when it is stressed out by changing parameters. Sometimes it does it naturally without any clear trigger. Whenever that happens it turns back better than before.
