Hello all.
Your friendly, neighborhood ginger here.
I am working on a coral restoration internship with a coral nursery that has a flow through sea water system. Long story short, one of our pumps brought in a bunch of sediment (and whatever other gunk) and now some of the corals are not happy. The problem is resolved.. but I've been pondering...
Has anyone tried / does any one know if stress relief baths exist for corals?
Where this is coming from: when I had chicken pox as a kid my mom gave me an oatmeal bath. When you have inflammation in the body they say eat anti-inflammatory foods. Is there a way to give a coral a "stress relief" bath to calm coral inflammation, discomfort, and stress? We have coral Lugo solution, but that isn't really helping.
A random, weird question I now. But I'm trying to think out of the box on this one.
Thank you for your help!
