I'm planning to set up a Waterbox 7g as a quarantine tank. When I cycled my old tank, and now with cycling my forthcoming display tank, I will control the temps using my Apex, heater, and fan. But for this small quarantine tank (really an acclimation tank - future will probably serve as a hospital tank) does it really matter if I'll have temp swings between 76 and 80? It really is just sustaining bacteria for the next month.

Thank you.

A QT tank is for fish and inverts corals so the rest of your post is a bit confusing to me

If it just has bacteria then it does not matter.
