I have never seen those "tail-feather" looking features before on these types of snails nor found similar images online..

Can and should I dip the snails?I would say yes a parasite living on the tissue of the snails.
What is an invertebrate safe dip?I am sure you can treat them but I do not know with what as I do not know exactly what they are.
They look like sacks of eggs...Than at Tidal Gardens has a video of Astraea snails with tiny pyramid snails attached. What do they look like close up? Here is the tidal gardens video link. He talks about it 2:30 min in.
Ok, thanksmetronidazole is safe with inverts
After using my macro lens, they look like egg sacks, but i didn't think they breed that way...Id leavem in the bag or water and acclimate till the experts weigh in. Are the little "things" hard or soft. look like spiral snails?
yea exactly. very weird. After using my macro lens, they look like egg sacks, but i didn't think they breed that way...
I'll let them float in the bag a while longer...I have only seen them lay eggs on surfaces. If those are eggs I would be cautious as I don't think they are theirs. The snails could be a different family of the species.
